Main Duties:
• Architect Linux software
• Optimize system performance
• Work with internal Hardware/System teams to improve hardware design for Linux
• Work with customers to support their requirements
Required Experience:
• Extensive embedded Linux experience with hand held devices
• 5 - 10 years of embedded Linux experience
• Strong C/C++ programming skills required
• Experience with optimizing embedded system performance
• Extensive knowledge of the Linux kernel and system
• Excellent communication skills
• Independent and motivated problem solver
• Experience with 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards desired
Required Knowledge:
• Embedded Linux software development experience a must
• CDMA/WCDMA air interface experience a plus
• Networking protocol, 802.11 experience a plus
Education:
BSEE or BSCS
